The Herbal Medicine Unit in Barnor Memorial Hospital was established as part of the Alternative Medicine Clinic in 2017 to provide expert and excellent alternative healthcare to clients who choose to seek care other than mainstream allopathic medicine.
The unit, together with the general clinic offers combined therapy for some clients with chronic medical conditions. The main classes of medication used in the department are herbal medicines and supplements.
